BPD’s Annual “Fill the Truck” Toy Drive Returns December 13

The Bradenton Police Department is gearing up for one of its favorite annual traditions — the Fill the Truck toy drive —returning on Saturday, December 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Each year, BPD collects unwrapped gifts for children and teens and partners with local organizations and community groups to distribute them to families in need throughout our community.

Can’t make it on the 13th? There are still plenty of ways to take part. From November 24 through December 13, a donation bin will be available in the BPD lobby for anyone who’d like to drop off a gift at their convenience. You can also support the drive from home by shopping the BPD Fill the Truck Gift Registry on Amazon.

Items purchased through the registry—including optional gift cards—are delivered directly to the department. Gift cards will be used to purchase high-need items requested by our partner organizations.

BPD sincerely thanks you for your generosity and community spirit!
