BRADENTON – The Braden River Branch Library will host 11 special events for school age children and teens this summer, beginning June 12 and continuing through July 26. Seating for all of the events is free and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Everyone is welcome to attend, and no registration is necessary.
Kids:
- Thursday, June 12 at 2:00 p.m. Mad Science presents “Fire and Ice”
- Saturday, June 14 at 11:00 a.m. Father’s Day Camp Storytime (Bring your Dad/Grampa)
- Thursday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. Dig into Archaeology
- Saturday, June 21 at 10:00 a.m. Read to the Dogs with Florida Therapy Dogs
- Thursday, June 26 at 2:00 p.m. Juggling, Laser Lights, and Magic with Gerard
- Thursday, July 3 at 2:00 p.m. Garbage Science
- Thursday, July 10 at 2:00 p.m. Mad Science presents “Up, Up, and Away”
- Thursday, July 17 at 2:00 p.m. Tampa Taiko Drums
- Thursday, July 24 at 2:00 p.m. Amazing Reptiles show presented by John Storms
- Saturday, July 26 at 10:00 a.m. Read to the Dogs with Florida Therapy Dogs
- Thursday, July 31 at 2:00 p.m. Balloon Sculpture presented by Showtime for Kids
Teens:
- Saturday, June 14 at 1:00 p.m. Learn how to knit!
- Saturday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m. Learn magic with Showtime’s James Chartier
- Friday, July 25 at 1:00 p.m. AAA driving simulator
- Saturday, July 26 at 1:00 p.m. AAA driving simulator
