Bradenton Budget & Property Tax Rate Approved on First Reading

BRADENTON — The Bradenton City Council voted unani­mously at a public meeting last Wednesday to tentatively approve the budget and property tax rate for Fiscal Year 2014-15.

The second and final reading and public hea­ing of the budget and property tax rate is scheduled for 5:01 p.m. Sept. 24 in the City Hall Council Chambers, 101 Old Main St. The council will consider approving a property tax rate of 5.8976 — which is the existing rate.
