BRADENTON – At the meeting following Wednesday afternoon's budget meeting, the Bradenton City Council heard a presentation on CRA Budget Proposals, heard more public comments on the approved Harbor Sound project on Perico Island, and approved a motion to discuss funding for a conceptual plan for 48th Street Court East with a nearby business that may benefit from said project.

- 48th Street Court East Conceptual Plan (Thornton’s) (After discussion, a motion was made to initiate communication with Wawa on helping fund the plan, which Councilman Gene Gallo advised may help bring business to the company's neighboring store. Motion approved 3-2, with Councilmen Harold Byrd and Gene Brown dissenting.)
