Bradenton City Council Approves Vacation of Easement for Property on Third Avenue West

Posted

BRADENTON – At Tuesday's special meeting, the Bradenton City Council voted to approve a vacation of easement for the property at 1933 Third Avenue West. The passed resolution will unbind use restrictions of the property for its owner, Joe Jaret, allowing a sale and purchase to happen.

The special meeting was scheduled for the purpose of expediting the vote on the resolution for the owner, which would have otherwise taken place at the next city council meeting on August 13.

The motion to approve the resolution was made by Vice Chair and Councilman Gene Gallo; Councilman Gene Brown seconded the motion. The vote passed 4-0, with Councilman Patrick Roff being absent from the meeting.
