BRADENTON – At Wednesday's meeting and final public hearing for the City of Bradenton's FY 2014-15 budget, the city council approved two resolutions: one for levying taxes for the coming fiscal year and for the disbursement of funds, and the second for approving the budget and a millage rate of 5.8976, the same rate listed in the current year's budget.

A RESOLUTION LEVYING TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2014 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2015, AND PROVIDING FOR THE DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS ARISING FROM SAID LEVY; ALSO THE DISBURSEMENT OF CERTAIN OTHER FUNDS.
RESOLUTION 14-32 2nd READING AND PUBLIC HEARING (Passed unanimously)
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE BUDGET, AND SETTING REVENUES AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR CITY OF BRADENTON, FLORIDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2014-15, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
