BRADENTON - The Downtown Development Agency on Thursday said it is canceling Tuesday's scheduled meeting.
Executive director Mike Kennedy said in an e-mail that there is a lack of a quorum for the board meeting on Tuesday and there is no quorum for the July 30 backup date.
The next meeting of the DDA will be the Aug. 11 board workshop from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Blalock Walters, where the board will concentrate on the fiscal year 2009-10 budget. There may also be a short official board meeting to start that day to take care of some business matters, Kennedy said.
