Bradenton Gladiators to hold Open Football Tryouts

BRADENTON -- Manatee County's Minor League Football team, the Bradenton Gladiators, will hold open tryouts and a combine, Sunday, October 3rd from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the IMG Academies located at 5500 34th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34210.  ALL players new and returning MUST attend the Tryouts. The Bradenton Gladiators tryouts will include the following:
 
Player profile sheet, which will include player bio, statistics and accolades

Pro-style combine which includes:

        40 yard dash
        Bench Press
        Vertical jump
        Broad jump
        Shuttle run
        3 Cone drill  
        Various position specific station drills

Note:  7-on-7 and 1-on-1 competition will be dependent upon time.
 
Registration for all prospective players age 17 and older will take place Sunday, October 3rd at IMG Academy Football Facilities from 2:00pm to 3:00pm prior to the start of tryouts.  Tryout & Combine fees are $40 for new players and $30 for returning players. Registration fees can be paid by cash, money order, or credit card and due at registration.  Additional information will be provided to those qualified applicants at the time of registration and on the website.

Players should bring cleats, tennis shoes, and black shorts. A Bradenton Gladiator shirt will be provided at registration.  Each player will be required to complete a registration form and  waiver / release form.
