Bradenton Police Department Warns Citizens of Increased Car Thefts

BRADENTON -- The Bradenton Police Department is reminding citizens to lock their vehicles while left unattended.


Increasingly, thieves are entering unlocked vehicles and stealing whatever can be removed.  This crime can occur at all hours of the day and night. With the help of citizens locking car doors we can make our community safer and reduce crime.

Anyone that observes suspicious persons loitering in parking lots or streets is asked to call and report the activity immediately to the Bradenton Police Department at (941) 932-9300 or your local law enforcement agency.
