Bradentucky Bombers to Raise Money for SCF Women

BRADENTON – The Bradentucky Bombers, Manatee County’s original flat track women’s roller derby team, will donate a portion of the proceeds of an upcoming bout to the State College of Florida Women’s Volleyball Team. The featured bout will be against Miami’s Vice City Rollers on Saturday, August 17, at the Bradenton Area Convention Center.

At every home bout, the Bombers donate items or funds to local organizations thus embodying their slogan “Strong Women Rolling for a Strong Community.” For this game, raffle proceeds will be donated.

With proper I.D., college students can receive a $2 discount on door tickets.

Game itinerary:

6 p.m.       Tailgating in the lobby of the Bradenton Area Convention Center

6:30 p.m.  Doors Open

7 p.m.       Game Begins

9:15 p.m.  Afterparty at the Lost Kangaroo Pub in downtown Bradenton

Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased from:

It is suggested you bring a chair. Track side seating is available on a first come, first serve basis for those persons 18+. Parking is $5. There will be food and drinks available for purchase at the game which is provided by Milan Catering.
