BRADENTON — Homebuilder Taylor Woodrow Communities has bought 32 acres in Northeast Manatee County. The national building company paid $3.2 million for three tracts of land in a purchase deal with Suburban Land Reserve Inc.

The property sits at the 5200 block of Moccasin Wallow Road, an area which has been a hotbed of development activity as of late. It is partially zoned agricultural.

Taylor Woodrow Communities is a subsidiary of Taylor Morrison, one of the largest home building companies in North America. Its corporate headquarters are in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The company is a result of a 2007 merger between Taylor Woodrow and Morrison Homes. They operate in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, and Texas, specializing in mid-to-upscale housing as well as first-time and mid-market homes.

The company currently markets new homes at the Esplanade Golf and Country Club in Lakewood Ranch, Palma Sola Trace in West Bradenton and Arbor Reserve in southeast county.
