Candidate Profile: Gubernatorial Candidate Yinka Abosede Adeshina

BRADENTON – Yinka Abosede Adeshina will be on the ballot challenging incumbent Florida Governor Rick Scott for the GOP nomination for the office.

Despite raising nearly $200,000 and qualifying for matching funds from the state, Adeshina has not campaigned in any meaningful way.

Her campaign website might best be described as confused, with phrases and generalities that border on incoherent.

Adeshina is, however, no stranger to running for office. She filed a federal campaign run for president as a Democrat in 2010 and a Republican in 2013.
