BRADENTON -- A ridge of high pressure continues across the waters through Friday night with local Bay and sea breezes in the afternoon and weak easterly surges at night. The ridge moves north of the waters during the weekend with stronger easterly surges during the late night and early morning hours Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

East winds around 10 knots becoming northwest late in the afternoon. Bay and inland waters a light chop.
