BRADENTON-- Surface high pressure to the north and Hurricane Irene to the southeast will produce a northeast to easterly wind flow over the Gulf waters the remainder of today. Hurricane Irene will move north off the Atlantic coast of Florida during Thursday and Friday with increasing winds and seas possible. For the latest information on Irene please see the latest advisories being issued by the National Hurricane Center.

Thursday

North winds around 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Thursday night will bring north winds around 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. Isolated thunderstorms.

Friday

Northwest winds around 20 knots. Bay and inland waters choppy. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Friday night will bring west winds around 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. Isolated thunderstorms in the evening.

Saturday
