BRADENTON -- A weak trough over Florida this morning moves east today...as high pressure continues to expand across the eastern Gulf and Florida through the weekend with conditions remaining below highlight criteria.

Thursday

Northwest winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Scattered thunderstorms. Thursday night will bring northwest winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. There will be isolated thunderstorms in the evening.

Friday

Northwest winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Scattered thunderstorms. Friday night will bring west winds around 5 knots becoming southeast around 5 knots toward morning. Bay and inland waters smooth. There will be isolated thunderstorms in the evening.

Saturday

South winds around 5 knots becoming west 10 knots in the late morning and afternoon. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Scattered thunderstorms. Saturday night will bring northwest winds around 5 knots becoming west in the late evening and overnight. Bay and inland waters smooth. There will be isolated thunderstorms in the evening.
