BRADENTON -- Strong Canadian high pressure will build south through the Mississippi Valley tonight and into the deep south over the next several days. Very strong northerly winds and elevated seas will accompany this cold air. Conditions will improve Thursday night into Friday as the high weakens and slides by to the north of the area through the weekend. Fishing this weekend will be average.

Friday

North winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Friday night will bring northeast winds around 5 knots. Bay and inland waters smooth. Fishing during major solunar periods from 7:50 a.m.-9:50 a.m. and 8:15 p.m.-10:15 p.m., or during minor periods from 2:20 a.m.-3:20 a.m. and 1:14 p.m.-2:14 p.m. will produce average results.
Tides: Low at 3:23 a.m. (-0.19), high at 7:18 p.m. (1.89).

Saturday

North winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Saturday night will bring northeast winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Fishing during major solunar periods between 8:41 a.m.-10:41 a.m. and 9:08 p.m.-11:08 p.m., or during minor times from 3:18 a.m.-4:18 a.m. and 2:01 p.m.-3:01 p.m. will produce average results.

Sunday

Southeast winds around 5 knots in the morning becoming variable less than 5 knots. Bay and inland waters smooth. There will be a slight chance of showers in the afternoon. Sunday night will bring south winds around 5 knots becoming east overnight. Bay and inland waters smooth. There will be a chance of showers. Fishing during major solunar periods from 9:36 a.m.-11:36 a.m. and 10:05 p.m.-12:05 a.m., or during minor solunar periods from 4:16 a.m.-5:16 a.m. and 2:54 p.m.-3:54 p.m. will produce average results.
