BRADENTON -- stalled front across the area will lift north as a warm front this morning. A low pressure system will track through the northern Gulf and drag a cold front through the area Thursday afternoon. Gradient flow will begin to increase resulting in stronger winds and increasing seas over the next couple of days. The new moon will bring great fishing over the weekend.

Thursday
South winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. There will be a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Thursday night will bring south winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. There will be a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Fishing during the major solunar period from 11:29 a.m. - 1:29 p.m., or during minor solunar period from 5:30 a.m. - 6:30 a.m. and 5:32 p.m. - 6:32 p.m. will produce good results.
