BRADENTON -- A surface high pressure ridge will slowly shift south over the next few days as a cold front approaches and moves through the waters on Sunday. Winds will increase ahead of the front from the southwest and west. Coastal water temperatures are now in the 80s. Solunar predictions remain average throughout the weekend but action is expected to become enhanced as the full moon approaches at the beginning of next week.

Friday
North winds around 5 knots becoming west 10 knots in the late morning and afternoon. Bay and inland waters a light chop. There will be isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Friday night will bring southwest winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop.
Tides: High at 4:44 a.m. (1.25), low at 7:54 a.m. (1.14), high at 2:13 p.m. (2.55), low at 10:53 p.m. (-0.28)

Saturday
Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. There will be a slight chance of thunderstorms. Saturday night will bring southwest winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. There will be a chance of thunderstorms.

Sunday
West winds around 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. There will be a chance of thunderstorms. Sunday Night will bring west winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. There will be a slight chance of thunderstorms.
