BRADENTON --High pressure across the Central Peninsula this afternoon will sink south and east tonight as a cold front moves into the southeastern states. The cold front will moved south through the waters on Wednesday with some showers along and ahead of it. The front will move south of the waters Wednesday night. Strong high pressure will build into the region during Thursday and Friday in the wake of the front with gusty north to northeast winds and choppy seas expected. The high will slide off the mid Atlantic and southeast coasts Friday night and Saturday. Another cold front will approach the waters on Sunday.

 

Thursday 
Northeast winds around 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop.
Friday
East winds 10 to 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop.Friday night will bring east winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop.
Saturday 
East winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Saturday night will bring southeast winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop.
Sunday
South winds around 10 knots...increasing to 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon. Bay and inland waters a light chop becoming a moderate chop in the afternoon. A slight chance of showers in the afternoon.
