BRADENTON --High pressure centered over the west Atlantic will continue to ridge across the area through the end of the week. A weakening gradient may give way to a sea breeze circulation each afternoon through Friday. A cold front will then push into the area Saturday and exit the state by Sunday. High pressure becomes reestablished by the beginning of the week,

 

 

Thursday
Southeast winds around 5 knots becoming northwest in the afternoon. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Northeast winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. A chance of showers.
Friday
East winds around 10 knots becoming west late in the afternoon. Bay and inland waters a light chop. A chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Friday night will bring northeast winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Showers likely in the evening...then a chance of showers after midnight.
Saturday
North winds around 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. A chance of showers in the morning...then a slight chance of showers in the afternoon. Saturday night will bring northeast winds around 20 knots. Bay and inland waters choppy.
Sunday
Northeast winds around 20 knots. Bay and inland waters choppy. Sunday night will bring northeast winds around 15 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. A slight chance of showers.
