BRADENTON -- High pressure will remain over the northeast Gulf for the next several days. Stronger high pressure will build across New England over the weekend merging with the northern Gulf Ridge creating stronger easterly flow with higher seas.

 

Thursday

South winds around 5 knots becoming northwest around 10 knots in the afternoon. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Thursday night will bring northwest winds around 5 knots becoming east around 5 knots overnight. Bay and inland waters a light chop.

Friday

Northeast winds around 5 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Isolated thunderstorms. Friday night will bring east winds around 5 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Isolated thunderstorms in the evening.

Saturday

Northeast winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop. Isolated thunderstorms. Saturday night will bring northeast winds around 10 knots. Bay and inland waters a light chop. Isolated thunderstorms in the evening.

Sunday
