Carl A. Ravazzoli, age 90, of Bradenton, FL for the past 20 years, passed into eternal life on September 8th, 2025. He was born on May 9, 1935, in Pittsfield, MA. Carl built his life around the people he loved and the faith that guided him, giving his heart fully to both.
Carl is predeceased by his loving wife, Wanda in 2021, daughter Gail in 1960, and his daughter-in-law Anne in 2025.
He is survived by three children, son, Carl M.; his daughter, Lynn and son-in-law, Tony; his son, Keith as well as his 3 cherished grandchildren, Stephen, Lauren and Alexander.
Carl honorably served in the United States Army for one full-term, where he was stationed in Japan. In this time, he grew a love of his country and a deep sense of patriotism that he carried with him for the remainder of his life.
He deeply loved his family and was devoted to all of them, offering guidance and support whenever needed. He is admired for his passion and ambition, which he carried through all aspects of his life. He was a devoted Catholic who instilled a love of God in those around him.
Besides spending time with his family and friends, he enjoyed woodworking, oil painting, golfing, traveling, playing solitaire, making chili, completing crosswords and sudoku puzzles, skiing, and building countless LEGOs over the years. He also volunteered for countless hours at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, where he touched the lives of many.
A Mass of loving remembrance will be celebrated at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Bradenton sometime in the near future. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel will be in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be made to www.brownandsonsfuneral.com.
