Carlton Fleming, III

Posted

Carlton Bon Fleming III, affectionately known as Bon, went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2024. Bon's life was a testament to love, humor, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends.

He is survived by his three daughters, whom he cherished with his entire heart: Christen Fleming Gause, Courtney Fleming Walls (Matt), and Erin Brooke Fleming. Bon also leaves behind his beloved mother, Marjorie Logan Fleming, and his grandchildren, Madison Gause, Ethan Gause, Abigail Gause, Olivia Walls, and Harper Walls. He adored his "grand-dogs" and "grand-cat," who brought him so much joy.

Bon was preceded in death by his father, Carlton Bon Fleming II, lovingly known as "Bill," his dear wife Carletta, and his stepdaughter Christie.

Bon's siblings, Bruce Fleming (Norma), Scott Fleming, Daniel Fleming (Kim), Kathy Fleming, and Tim Fleming (Karen), mourn his passing while celebrating the many cherished memories they created growing up in Bradenton and attending Manatee High School.

A proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Bon dedicated his career to serving as a Master Electrician in Lansing, Michigan. His work ethic and passion for his trade were evident in all he accomplished.

Bon was quick with a quip or a story and had a natural ability to make anyone feel like a old friend. He never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for connecting with people. Above all, he was an ardent supporter of his daughters and took immense pride in being a dad.

Bon's passing came too quickly, and his absence leaves a profound hole in the lives of those who loved him dearly. However, his Christian faith assures his family and friends that he is reunited with his loved ones in Heaven.

A celebration of Bon's life will be held at West Bradenton Baptist Church on Saturday January 4th at 11 a.m, where family and friends can gather to honor the memory of a man whose love, laughter, and light will never be forgotten.

Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34209, is in charge of arrangements.
