"Margie." A wonderful friend, my wife, and the loving mother to Wendy and Richie. She was always happy and full of energy, with a boundless willingness to help everyone. Margie lit up every room with her vibrant spirit, and she was, without a doubt, the best dancer I ever met. She truly loved to dance-it brought her joy like nothing else.

Margie also had a passion for fishing. She could spend an entire day by the water, patiently waiting for the next surprise to tug at her line, never growing tired of the experience. Her love for family and friends was unmatched. She held them dear above all else, especially her brother Eddie, who was also her most cherished fishing partner.

Beyond her zest for life, Margie had a creative soul. She adored her orchid collection and found great joy in painting, often losing herself in the process of creating beautiful and unique works of art.

She was born on July 16, 1945, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, to Jose (Papin) and Selenia (Sese) Moran (Davila). Her childhood was spent both on the island and in various locations across South America, where her father worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the sugar mills for the Central Aquirre Sugar Company. Her path later took her to Ottawa, in the province of Ontario, Canada, where she pursued further education and mastered the English language.

When I met Margie, I was in my final year of Naval service. From the very beginning, I knew she was the one for me-and I couldn't have been more right. We went on to share 55 extraordinary years together, filled with love, laughter, and the many adventures life brought our way.

Margie passed away quietly at home after a short illness. She left this world as comfortably and respectfully as possible, surrounded by her loving family. I will miss her deeply, as will so many of her family and friends. She will forever be with me, always, and with all my love.
