Carol Jean Wichers passed away on August 31, 2026, in Bradenton, Florida, leaving behind a legacy of faith in her Lord and devotion to her family.
Carol was born in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Bradenton, Florida in 1954 with her husband, Thomas Wichers, Jr. (deceased). She raised her family, was a member of the Bradenton Christian Reformed Church and was a devoted supporter of the Bradenton Christian School.
Family was central to Carol’s life. She was the beloved mother of Sharon Kay Moye (deceased), Marilyn Claire TeBos, Janet Carol Albin, Arlene Joy Geraldson, Thomas Wichers, Jr., and Marie Ann Cosgrove (deceased). She was blessed with 17 grandchildren (3 deceased), 29 great-grandchildren (1 deceased), and 2 great-great grandchildren. Though her earthly journey has ended, Carol’s legacy of faith in her Lord will be reflected in her family.
Donations may be made to Bradenton Christian School.
A funeral service will be held for Carol at 10AM on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Bradenton Christian Reformed Church, 4208 26th Street W., Bradenton, FL., 34205. Burial will take place at Skyway Memorial Gardens.
