Catherine "Katie" Olive Schall, age of 86, passed away June 14, 2024, at Heritage Care and Rehab.
She was born on June 19, 1937, in Florence, Alabama. She was the daughter of Severain and Sarah Schall. She graduated from Bradenton High School in 1957.
She returned to Alabama and worked at Marshall Space Center in Huntsville. She came back to Bradenton and lived in Royal Garden Estates. She was a life member of the VFW, a volunteer at Blake Hospital and Senior Friends.
She is survived by her sisters, Rose Russell of Florence, AL and Sarah Strom of Bradenton, Fl. Nieces, nephews, extended family, and special friends at Royal Garden Estates. She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lou Burr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Bradenton at a later date. Interment will be in Florence Cemetery in Florence, AL. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, Florida, is in charge of arrangements.
