The Friends of the Central Library are co-sponsoring a children’s book donation drive. “Look for Books!” is intended to help the Manatee County Public Library give the gift of reading via donations of children’s books.

Throughout the month of November, the public is asked to donate new (or gently used) books that would be appropriate for children up to age 12.

The Friends of the Central Library are a support organization for Manatee County’s Central Library. Monies raised by the Friends go toward programs and services that tax dollars alone cannot provide. For more information, call 941-748-5555 ext. 6321 or visit www.mymanatee.org/library.
