Charles R. Fox, age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26, 2025, with his family by his side.

Born on August 30, 1936, in Penn Yan, NY, Charlie was the son of the late Charles and Mary Fox. He graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1956 and proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves until his honorable discharge in 1962.

Charlie is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Doreen; his daughters, Cathy Parrish (Husband Jim) and Susan Fox Baird (Husband Mark); and his son, Stephen Fox (Wife Megan). He is also survived by five grandchildren: Meagan White (Husband Brian), Caitlin Baird, Kris Baird, Haley Fox, and Ethan Fox, as well as one great-grandson, Liam White.

Throughout his life, Charlie enjoyed swimming and boating on Keuka Lake, as well as hunting and fishing with friends. In his middle years, he developed a passion for golf, which became a significant part of his life after retiring from a successful career in industrial laundry management. He joined IMG, where he worked part-time as a master starter until just a few months before his passing. Some of his fondest memories include visiting St. Andrews Golf Course in Scotland and the Vatican in Italy.

Charlie will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Brown & Sons 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, Florida 34209.
