Charles Edward Jackson, Sr., was born on August 18, 1952 in Albany, Georgia, to the late Mr. Eddie J. Jackson, Sr., and Mrs. Oretha McDonald Jackson.

Charles attended public school in Dougherty County Schools and worked as a Domestic Engineer, ForkliftOperator and Asphalt Pavement Layer. During his early years he relocated from Albany, Georgia to Palmetto, Florida where he departed this life on June 20, 2024.

He met and married Beulah Lee Cooper unto this marriage five children were born, sons: Charles Edward, Jr., Corey Donzell, Mickey Lamont, J.W., and Melissa. After dissolution of his first marriage, he met and married Marilyn Jackson in which three children were born in this union, Oretha, Matthew, and Joseph Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children and five brothers, Sammie Lee McDonald Sr., Boynton Beach, Florida, Willie Lee Jackson (Billy), Palmetto, Florida, Glynn Jackson (Darlene) of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Eddie J. Jackson, Jr., of Moultrie, Georgia and Karey R. Isom, Sr., (Melinda) of Boynton Beach, Florida; three sisters: Playthawel Blue, Bertha Jackson both of Boynton Beach, Florida and Melba Ashby, Fredericksburg, Virginia and one Aunt Mildred Freeman of Palmetto, Florida.

A host of nieces and nephews extended great nieces, nephews, cousins, and cousin-in-laws
