Charles Romine, 74, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Scottsburg, IN, was born on May 29, 1950, and peacefully passed away on April 27, 2025.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Romine; his son, Dustin Romine; and two daughters, Misty LePere (Scott) and Michelle Brown (Paul). He was a proud grandfather to Chelsea Hunter, Cole Crowe (Amber), and Dalton Crowe, and a great-grandfather to two beautiful great-grandchildren, Kagan and Kayson.
Charles is also survived by three sisters, LaVonda Romine, Kathy Garnier, and Dana Barnes; as well as two brothers, Darrell Hickey (Tina) and Dennis Hickey (Joy). He was preceded in death by his mother, Iona Hickey; his stepfather, Ralph Hickey; two sisters, Phylis Romine and Rita Christner; and a brother, Merrill Hickey.
A skilled mechanic, Charles had a passion for old cars, Harley-Davidsons, and drag racing, and he was an avid NASCAR fan.
Known for his wisdom, talent, and generous spirit, he was a good friend to all who knew him.
Our hearts hang heavy as we mourn the loss of Charles. God has received a new angel, and he will live on in our hearts through every sweet memory we hold dear.
