The Bradenton Police Department is accepting applications for its 7th Annual Florida Contraband Forfeiture Grant Program.

The program provides financial support to neighborhood agencies and organizations engaged in projects to improve neighborhood safety, promote crime or drug prevention, offer drug education or drug treatment services, and support school resource programs.

Community groups, associations, or organizations developing or offering specific projects to address these areas of concern within the municipal boundaries of the City of Bradenton are eligible to apply for funding. There are no matching fund requirements and no] restrictions on the amount of funds requested or the scope of the project requesting support.

Since 2018, the Bradenton Police Department has provided more than $102,000 to community organizations within the City of Bradenton.
