Christmas in Cortez Returns Dec. 13

Christmas in Cortez returns to the historic Cortez fishing village on Saturday, December 13 from 12-3 pm. This free family event offers opportunities to meet Santa, play games, make crafts, bounce in bounce houses, and more. There will also be student performances from local schools. A special Music on the Porch holiday jam will take place during the event.

There will also be a Holiday Toy and Gift Drive. Bring unwrapped toys and gift cards for foster youth ages 0-18 in Manatee County. Every gift you donate will go directly to a child or teen through the Manatee County Foster & Adoptive Parent Association, Inc.—delivered at their special holiday event or placed under the tree on Christmas morning in foster homes across our county.

Need gift ideas? Shop from the FAPA's Amazon Wish List for age-appropriate suggestions. FAPA welcomes toys such as board games, art supplies, sports equipment, books, and dolls, and asks that donations not include toy weapons.
