Christopher W. Maxwell Sr., devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2023, at the age of 61 in Tampa, FL, with family by his side. He is survived by his wife, Dee Dee; son, Will (Jr.,); step-daughter, Kristi; brothers, Bruce and Jay; and six grandchildren, Hailey, Natalie, Riley, Ella, Chris (III), and John. Chris was born on February 16, 1962, in Bedford, Indiana, to Bill and Pat Maxwell. He played college basketball at Minnesota State University Moorhead. He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor's in Business Finance in 1986 and worked as a commercial lender for multiple financial institutions. Chris enjoyed riding roller coasters, fishing, caving, and bible study. He was a man of faith and was very active with his church. May Chris rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Bayside Community Church, located at 6609 Manatee Ave West, Bradenton, FL 34209. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
