City of Palmetto Regular Meeting Results May 2, 2011

PALMETTO --The Palmetto City Commission approved (3-2) a new sign ordinance Monday night that would allow signs for for food, lodging and gas businesses to be  up to 85 high with 325 square feet of surface. This ordinance only pertains to the area on 10th Street East from Third Avenue to the parcels just to the east of Haben Boulevard. The PCC also  honored several citizens for helping prevent crimes and told residents they are now looking at alternative sites for the North River Little League Baseball fields.
