Community CRA Partners with Palmetto Youth Center for M.L.K. Day Parade

PALMETTO – The Palmetto Youth Center and Palmetto Community Redevelopment Agency recently agreed to a Martin Luther King Parade and Multicultural Festival collaboration. The groups agree to work collaboratively to create a seamless transition between the two events. The new event will take place on January 19th 2013.

The M.L.K. Parade is scheduled to begin at 12 noon and will start at Lincoln Middle School. The Multicultural Festival will begin at 3pm at Lincoln Park and will include; food, live music, and activities for youth.

“We can learn so much from other cultures outside of our own and this event is a great opportunity to share and to learn,” says Mayor Bryant.
