MANATEE COUNTY -- Want to keep up with a great local charity effort? Feeding Empty Little Tummies Inc. (FELT) has launched a newsletter to keep the community informed about its progress in feeding Manatee County's homeless children every weekend with a food backpack to nurture them, when they often would have gone hungry.
The newsletter, called Friends of FELT, will be published on-line monthly. If you wish to subscribe, send your e-mail address to feltincmanatee@gmail.com.
As with every FELT effort, Friends of FELT is a strictly volunteer effort. Deborah Webster, who professionally produces other e-mail newsletters, is its editor. If you wish to submit news and/or photos pertaining to FELT, you can send the information to websterart@gmail.com. Please note on subject line: FELT.
Friends of FELT will be strictly informational about the backpack program to feed local homeless chidren on weekends. It will not solicit fund or food donations.
