Community Manatee County Animal Services Invites All to Two Big Events Tomorrow

Posted

MANATEE COUNTY – Manatee County Animal Services has two very important events this Saturday. First, in support of Pit Bull Awareness, we are participating in a “Coast to Coast Bully Walk” to be held at Riverfront Park in Downtown Bradenton. This walk is to showcase the Bully Breed for the wonderful loving pets they really are. Everyone is welcome to join this free event and bring their own well-behaved Pit and Bully Mix dogs.

Secondly, is our “Does Tricks, Loves Treats” Adoption event, held at both of our shelter locations, downtown Bradenton and at the Palmetto facility. We will feature dogs and cats for adoption to get them out of the shelter and into loving homes while supporting No Kill Manatee County. We will have lots of food, photographers, live music and a variety of vendors. Free goody bags with each adoption!

“Join us for a day of fun and help us save the animals.” said Animal Services Chief Kris Weiskopf. “All animals deserve a second chance to live and love.”

The special is event will be held at both of our locations: 305 - 25 Street West, Palmetto and 1002 B Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton (open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
