MANATEE COUNTY – Manatee County Animal Services is offering cats for adoption at no cost in December. That’s right, cats for FREE! (While supplies last.)

Calling all cat-a-holics or wannabees, we have your cat! Here at Animal Services we aim to please. Any and all cats, all shapes, sizes and colors, absolutely no cost to you. No down payments with no interest. No monthly payments to worry about. FREE cats. No one can have just one either. Stop by the shelter or adoption center and find your fur-ever friend today! All pets adopted will receive a health check, be spayed/neutered, vaccinated including rabies and microchipped. Now the disclaimer in not so small print; Free does not include a license certificate/tag required for Manatee County residents, which is $15.

Animal Services Chief Kris Weiskopf says “Come to Animal Services and check out our cats-a-plenty. We have cats for everyone. Help us help the animals by adopting today; every animal deserves a second chance at a good life.”

This adoption special is another step in the County’s plan to become a no-kill community. Please help up save lives today!

The special is available at both Animal Services locations: in Palmetto, 305 25th St. W. (open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and in Bradenton, 1002 B., Manatee Ave. W., (open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Preview available animals by visiting www.mymanatee.org/pets.
