Community Nominate Your Favorite Agriculturalist for Farm City Week

PALMETTO -- Nominations for Manatee County Outstanding Agriculturalist and Agriculture Hall of Fame are currently being accepted. These recognitions honor those who have contributed to the success and growth of agriculture in Manatee County.

The Outstanding Agriculturalist must be a current member of our community and will be honored during the Kiwanis Club of Bradenton Farm City Week Luncheon on November 13, 2012. Nominees for the Manatee County Ag Hall of Fame may be living or deceased and will be honored at the Palmetto Historical Luncheon on November 14th.

Photos of both recipients will be placed in the Manatee County Agricultural Museum and Hall of Fame in Palmetto.

Nominations must be submitted by close of business on August 31, 2012.
