annual joint-county-wide club effort, The Bradenton Rotary Club delivered over 900 paper-back dictionaries to third graders at Prine, Ballard, Kinnan, Moody, Orange Ridge, Rogers Garden and Rowlett elementary schools. These included Spanish language dictionaries.

Dan Chappie, President of the Bradenton Rotary Club noted: "Each year the Rotary Clubs of this county come together for a common service project to make sure each third grader has their own personal dictionary. You would be surprised how many children are so excited by something this simple. It is very gratifying for all Manatee County Rotarians. Together we make a difference, world-wide and at home."

The Rotary Club of Bradenton was founded in 1926 and its members join over 1.2 million other Rotarians world-wide in building peace and understanding through service.

The Rotary Club of Bradenton may be contacted at P.O. Box 1117, Bradenton, FL 34205, or Dan Chappie at 748-8680.
