Community Spotlight: Coastal Orthopedics Wins Award for Best Team

BRADENTON – Coastal Orthopedics, Sports Medicine & Pain Management is proud to announce its team as this year’s winner of the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Health Care Heroes Team award.

The 10th annual “Health Care Heroes Awards” took place at The Vinoy Renaissance Resort & Golf Club in St. Petersburg on Thursday, October 17, 2013.

An independent panel of judges received numerous written submissions from patients and healthcare professionals around the Tampa Bay Area. 34 finalists were selected in 9 categories.

Categories included Health Care Educator, Innovation & Research, Lifetime Achievement, Medical Professional Non-Physician, Physician, Veterinarian and Volunteer.

The Team award recognizes Coastal Orthopedics for significantly impacting the quality of health care in the Bradenton-Sarasota community.
