Posted

PALMETTO – With the cost of college tuition on the rise, Kallins, Little, and Delgado Personal Injury Attorneys of Palmetto,  are trying to do their part to help. In 2006 the law firm started a scholarship program for High School Seniors in Manatee County.

Since the start of the program the law firm has given out $115,000 in scholarship money. The winners for the scholarships are chosen based on their grade point average, community service, extracurricular activities, and an essay written by each applicant.

On May 8, 2013 the law firm held its Eighth Annual Kallins, Little, and Delgado Scholarship Banquet at IMG Country Club. The banquet was held for the eleven recipients of the 2013 scholarship and their families.

Michael Gallen County Commissioner was the guest speaker. Presenters of the awards were as follows: Scott Kallins, Esq, Melton Little, Esq, Jaime Delgado, Esq, Dr. Marc Kallins, Jay Horn, Esq, Judge Edward Nicholas, Sylvia Peters, and Ed Sanford.
