Community Spotlight: FCPA Names Bradenton Neighborhood Watch Liaison Crime Prevention Volunteer of the Year 2013

BRADENTON – The Florida Crime Prevention Association (FCPA) announced that Ms. Tami Spyker was their  2013 Crime Prevention Volunteer of the Year during their 44th Annual Training Conference, which was held at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota on October 17th, 2013.

Ms. Spyker had been nominated by Chief of Police Michael Radzilowski for her tireless efforts, and dedication to serving her fellow citizens within the City of  Bradenton (See Attached Award Nomination Submission). The award was presented to Ms. Spyker by the Association’s President Mr. Chip Wells of the St. Petersburg Police Department. 

Deputy Chief of Police Warren Merriman who was in attendance stated, “The City of Bradenton Police Department as a whole congratulates Ms. Spyker for being named the recipient of this prestigious award. It is quite remarkable that Ms. Spyker has donated thousands of hours to her community without compensation, and continues to go above and beyond to ensure existing programs stay on track, in addition to implementing new safety programs throughout the City of Bradenton. Lastly, without doubt our community is better because of Ms. Spyker’s efforts”.
