Community Spotlight: Goodwill Manasota Names Christopher Davis To Spearhead New Veterans Program

“The local community has been extremely supportive of this program," says Rosinsky. "With their help, we can create a seamless case management system that will support each veteran’s unique strengths and needs regarding housing, family, education and other challenges.”

Christopher Davis served as a senior intelligence analyst in the Army for 14 years. "Christopher's experience will be essential in helping veterans navigate the confusing array of programs available to them as they return to the civilian sector," says Rosinsky.

The American Veterans and Their Families Initiative was designed to expand Goodwill Manasota’s services to respond to the multitude of challenges faced by veterans, their families, and the families of those who serve on active duty.

“We're developing alliances with community partners to maximize resources and avoid duplication of services in order to help transition our veterans into employment aligned with their vocational goals," said Rosinsky. "The American Veterans and Their Families Initiative helps eliminate barriers to employment and will provide opportunities for higher paying positions for veterans and their families."

Davis says that he looks forward to getting started. "This is something I'm personally passionate about," he says.
