The Healthy Start Coalition of Manatee County, Inc. (HSCMC) will host an open house on Tuesday, March 5th from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at its new office, located at 410 43rd St.
West, Suite N, in Bradenton.
Healthy Start Manatee will welcome visitors so that they can learn more about the agency’s maternal-child health programs, tour the new office space, and enjoy light refreshments.
Healthy Start will also provide guests with the opportunity to help support the important services it offers moms and babies by becoming part of the 40 Cribs for 40 Babies Campaign. HSCMC’s goal is to raise funds to purchase and/or receive in-kind donations so that it can provide 40 cribs to families who do not have a safe place for their baby to sleep.
The Healthy Start Coalition of Manatee has a 20 year history of offering comprehensive maternal-child health programs – such as breastfeeding, nutrition, childbirth, and parenting education and psychosocial counseling, as well as individualized case management – to expectant and new mothers and their infants. Serving over 3,500 moms and babies annually, HSCMC’s mission is to ensure access to prenatal and pediatric care, reduce infant mortality, and improve birth and developmental outcomes among babies in Manatee County.
