Community Spotlight: Hernando de Soto Historical Society Presents Manatee's Early Learning Coalition with $30,000 Check

LONGBOAT KEY – On Friday November 15th at the ELC Golf Classic held at the Longboat Key Harbourside Golf Course members of the Hernando de Soto Historical Society presented the Early Learning Coalition of Manatee County a check in the amount of $30,000.00 from the Conquistador Historical Foundation (CHF).  

CHF is the Society’s 501(3)C whose mission is to promote charitable, literary and educational opportunities for the children and their families who reside in Manatee County.  

The Society and Foundation are working collaboratively with the ELC to strengthen existing programs such as the De Soto Children’s Parade and Party in the Park, and to provide new educational venues to positively impact the children and Families of Manatee County.
