BRADENTON – Manatee County Habitat for Humanity received a $30,000 grant from Publix Super Market Charities for the construction of Habitat home in Ellenton Hope Landing community. Hope Landing, when completed, will be home to 18 Habitat families.

“Our partnership with Publix is one we treasure most highly,” says Manatee Habitat Board Chair, Jim Frame. “Publix has simply always been there for our Habitat affiliate. Whether through direct financial support, employee volunteers, membership on our board or sharing their retail expertise with our ReStore operations, we know we can always count on them.

Publix Super Markets Charities Foundation was established by Publix founder, Mr. George Jenkins, to improve life in local communities.
