PALMETTO – In an on-going club effort to promote community awareness of homeless children living in shelters in Manatee County, Manatee Riverside Rotary recently donated sports balls to Hope Family Services.
Hope Family Services, Inc. promotes safety, strength, and well-being for those affected by domestic violence in Manatee County. HOPE's vision is to create social change which will provide a community where everyone has skills to solve conflicts in a non-violent manner with the goal of ending domestic violence. HOPE's myriad of services are free and confidential. If you need help or would like to make a donation to HOPE please call 941-747-8499.
This donation will create a positive attitude for these children, keep them occupied and allow for social, mental and physical development of their well being. The Manatee Riverside Rotary Club will be donating football, soccer and basketballs to many other homeless shelters for children in Manatee County.
Manatee Riverside Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at River House in Palmetto at 5:30. For more information about this community project please contact Club President Jason Harper at 941-779-8832. To visit the official website of Manatee Riverside, go to www.manateeriversiderotary.org.
