Community Spotlight: Overcome Birth Defects Holds Second Annual Easter/Passover Toy Drive

BRADENTON – Overcome Birth Defects' The Toy Cabinet has partnered with Hernden, Trapp and Westfall, located at 4702 26th Street West, for their second annual Easter/Passover toy drive to benefit children who will be hospitalized in Manatee County during the holidays. Toys will be collected through March 26th.

New, unwrapped toys are welcome for children of all ages. A list of toy suggestions may be found on Overcome Birth Defects website www.overcomebirthdefects.com or their Facebook page The Toy Cabinet. The Toy Cabinet is a non profit organization based in Bradenton. It offers research, education, counseling and additional links for providing information and assistance to the families of children with birth defects. It also holds toy drives throughout the year for all children who are hospitalized during the holidays.

It is also the organization's goal to be able to provide grants to the families of children who are undergoing medical care for their birth defects.
