Community Spotlight: Publix Super Markets Charities Presents Check to United Way

BRADENTON – Through its volunteer efforts and financial contributions, Publix Super Markets and its employees continue to make an impact in Manatee County. With 15 stores, Publix is United Way’s largest contributing company in Manatee County. For the 2013-2014 Annual Campaign Publix and its employees pledged a total amount of $722,388.

On May 20, Publix Super Markets Charities presented a check to the United Way of Manatee County for $299,500. This check represents the company’s corporate match.


Please join United Way of Manatee County in recognizing Publix for their accomplishments. Their generous support of the community and never-ending philanthropic efforts continue to a make tremendous difference, helping those who need it most.
